Nicely done Bo - and great minds must think alike (so to speak )

Friday night I also had a go at imaging NGC 3372. The following is a single 300 sec guided image taken at ISO 400 using a 60Da through my SW ED120BD with Orion 0.83FR. No LP filter, no CLS filter (forgot to put that back in!) and so far only tweaked using levels & curves in PS-CS5. Zooming in on the stars reveals some halos around the 'white' stars, so I'll have to watch that when processing these properly. Given that I'm north of the city and this was to the south east the conditions must have been pretty good - this is shaping up to be the best go that I've had at NGC 3372 from home.

Last night was a bust - tried to collect images using Nebulosity 4.0 whilst dithering - a lot of mush was recorded so a closer re-read of the manual and various threads is required!

Can't wait to catch up with everyone at SVAC-XX! Imagine if we get three or four clear nights like what we have just had. Hope to see you there.
