yep it has been super dry down here too, we didn't get as wet as nsw but we still haven't had clear skies. Is that Gannicus in your profile?

I use
http://clearoutside.com/forecast/50.7/-3.52 most of the time i have found it quite good. Give it a go and see what you think. You just need to put your postcode in and it should bring it up. sometimes it probably gives an "green" reading when the winds are a tad high (they are listed in mph).
