The 10-day waiting period expired yesterday and I just got an email from Paypal:

We were able to recover $x,xxx.xx, and this amount has been credited to you. Please allow 5 business days for this adjustment to be posted.
They've credited back the full amount already. Didn't expect it so quickly. Go Paypal!
