Jupiter Dec 28th

Imaged Jupiter Dec 28th covering approx 90 minutes of rotation with Jupiter breaking through 50 degrees alt by the end of the session, the first time for several years for my observatory. The seeing was rather ordinary but there is considerable resolved detail particularly in 685nm IR. I have 4 x IR, R, RGB data sets overall and have put them into IR, R & RGB animations which helps to highlight some of the fainter and more subtle detail in the NTrZ & STrZ. There is also quite good coverage of the region preceding the GRS which is on the F limb at the end of the session.

Trevor
