Thanks Pat, yeah the sky glow is pretty minimal here, probably thanks to Gunnedah only having a population of 10,000. RE: the smudge spot - you're spot on! I got carried away with the layer masks and ended up convincing myself it was a tidal tail
. After you stare at a image for a prolonged period of time nothing seems to make sense
. I'll need to go back and correct that.
