Hi all. For sale is my GSO 10"(250mm) f/8 Carbon Fiber Truss Ritchey Chretien, purchased new from Bintel. I just don't have the back yard space since moving houses, so I either have to break down and set up each time or go and image elsewhere, and unfortunately this scope is just too big and fragile to be man-handled that much. It deserves an observatory or at least a semi-permanent place to set up. My goal is to downsize to a more manageable refractor in the 100-130mm range.
The package includes:
OTA
Moonlite dual speed focuser. Original supplied as well.
Collimation ring (sits between the scope and focuser)
Astrozap light shroud and dust cap
Kendrick secondary heater
Farpoint Bahtinov mask
Astro-Physics CCDT67 focal reducer.
Mechanically it is in near new condition, however there is some dust on the main optics, being a truss and all, however it does not impact performance as far as I can tell.
The scope and accessories have cost me about $4k.
My price is $3100. I would prefer pick up, as it's quite a large carton, but can post if you want to organize.
