Is it on a sensor? Or do they switch it on themselves. Talk to them it can't hurt. Explain why it is a problem, let them look through a scope. If they understand your issue they might be more likely to take steps to contain or change the light. That said there are people who just won't care and enjoy putting their light footprint everywhere.
A few 'fix' ideas- plant a row of Leighton Green evergreen trees, these things turn into dense high hedges within a few years- in some places they are known as 'spite hedges' for their ability to block neighbor views. I have a nice row of these which are just getting dense enough to block off a street light.
Put up two log posts or flag poles, with pulleys at the top you can hoist a big black/silver tarp to block off the light.
Finally, one of the spray painting drones could take it out pretty essy if your really angry.
