Thanks Andrew �� For this shot I tried two exposures one with light painting for the foreground and the second was strictly for the Milky Way itself. Off the topmof my head the settings would have been as follows: Canon 70D using the 10-22mm lens, 10mm f3.5, 25 second exposure and that was for the milkyway, the foreground was similar but I homestly cant remember but I also used an old torch to lighten the foreground.

For editing, I just edited the 2 shots for each section I was after (milky way for one and fg for the other) then just used layers and masks in PS to align and show what parts I wanted. I did take some time to do, but it was worth it.
