That has 'stacked' up very decently Carly, The CG's (Cloud-to-Ground) lightning bolts sure get my heart racing !

The blue'ness is most likely caused from the cameras WB (White Balance) settings, , - if you have it set to Auto WB, it can change to what its think best - in this your image, i'd say it "if was set to Auto" it has chosen - Tungsten Light which looks pretty good for Lightning, better than a dirty red that some WB settings produce ...

I usually use Tungsten Light - but I also change some 'onboard filter hues aswell, just to 'kill off some blue for better processing !

You can select 'Tungsten' manually so it doesnt/cant change, especially when your stacking multiples .
Check your Camera manual if you need know how to change these settings, pretty straight forward when get the idea,
