Akatsuki makes Venus orbit insertion!

Things went badly 5 years ago (the ceramic main engine nozzle broke!), but it looks like they have successfully used the small maneuvering thrusters for a prolonged (& unprecedented) burn to slow down enough to enter Venus orbit.

Go JAXA! (these guys are developing quite a track record for rescuing doomed missions)
