Hi all, a day off work today, saw me heading for the dark site this morning at 2am in 4 degree country chill
On the way out west of Melbourne, it was dark, black and clear sky as far as you could see.
But you guessed it, as soon as i was nearing my destination, the soupy thick fog rolled in from all angles and i was struggling to see 3 feet in front of me
I drove on in some sort of comatosed self beleif saying to myself "it will clear it will clear" "just a bit further"
Well the heavens decided to break through the heavy slick, and i pulled over right there on the side of the road running for the door to get my gear.
I setup with fingers frozen and mounted the cameras on the tripos and began exposing.
I had the 5d with a 50mm 1.4, set at 30 second exposures, and i had the 350d with the 10-22mm set on bulb for some longer shots.
Here is a couple after trying to figure out how to use photshop cs2.
All RAWs converted to TIFF, adjusted levels etc, re-sized and converted to JPG and ran through neat image.
Not as clear and as sharp as i would have liked, but still worth the effort seeing what the modded 5d is capable of.
