Hi,
My Dad served in the RAAF in Borneo in WWII, and he brought home several things, and stored them under the house. I found them.
There was a sand filled aerial practice bomb, and I took that to the cubby house I and my friends had made in the bush.

I came home from school one day to find the street blocked off and the police, army, fire brigade, and ambulance in attendance. I existed in terror for the next few days but no-one said anything.
Then there was a practice hand grenade, a Mills Bomb

It was inert, but I had no clue about that. I took it to school and showed it around. We played soldiers for a bit until a horrified teacher spotted us. It just happened he was an ex-Army officer who saw immediately it was a dummy by the colour coding on it, and it disappeared. Again, nothing was ever said.
After that I found a WWII smoke bomb. We took that to the park, put it in a big drain and triggered it. This one was live!! We hid in the surrounding bush and watched the fire brigade, then police, then the army turn up.
By then they must have known there was a deranged urban terrorist at work in the neighbourhood, but I had now run out of ammunition.
Cheers
