I have with the help of my good friends Peter and Andrew converted a EQ5 to alt/az mount but the goto upgrade kit i have seems not to allow me to choose alt/az instead. I think that this is due to the MC firmware perhaps not supporting alt/az mode. Is there anyway to get arouns this or does a new firmware exist to allow this? Maybe cab we use the mc firmware from the az-eq5?
