Vixen SXD Deluxe Equatorial Mount

Vixen SXD Deluxe Computerised Go to Equatorial Mount.
Sphinx style with retractable declination shaft. Built in motors for both axes.
Rated for 15 kg (40 lb) by vixen; notionally good for up to 20kg visually. This is the heaviest of the Sphinx series made by Vixen.
I have used this with a skyrover 130 & big TV eyepieces: say 12 kg combo; rock solid. It would handle C9.25 or maybe a short focus 150 refractor, or anything up to that. Maybe even a C11 if you wanted to use it visually: that said but this is a very sound medium to heavy portable mount - somewhere between a GM8 & a G 11. I have one of each of these and this sxd is not getting the use it deserves. I have adjusted the mount to minimise backlash and lubed it with Vixen grease.
Runs off 12V or car battery.
Includes
Vixen HAL 130 tripod
Vixen genuine aluminium case - added extra - about $400 extra- makes it a LOT easier to cart about. Case has a few minor dents but is sound and clean inside.
(in the case)
mount
counterweight
starbook controller which gives GOTO capability: usual 000s of objects

Price $1190 (will negotiate or reduce to 999 without tripod) Located N Shore Sydney
