I've had a couple of people ask if the handset was somehow damaged.
No, it is working fine. The dec function does not work as there is no dec motor on the scope. The link to the JMI site is to show where dec motors for this scope can be obtained from. The handset & the dec motor were always options with this scope. Today the handset is hard to find.
The optical quality is excellent. When conditions allowed I had no problem getting 400X with it.
Always happy to negotiate if you are interested.
