Thanks for your PM, Adam.

I've attached a couple of photos showing how a scope attaches to the mount via a dovetail plate attached to rings around a scope. The scope pictured is 80mm f/5 refractor. I've had a 100mm f/5 refractor on this mount, and I'd say that is as far as I'd load these mounts to. A smaller scope, in weight and size to the 80mm pictured, would be better suited.

The arm and mounting block are made from aluminium.

And no, the scope is not included...

The mounts are branded Tasco. These originally had a 114mm f/4.4 little tubby reflector on them. These mounts handled the 114 scope better than my 100mm refractor as they were about half the weight.
