I have a new problem that requires rectification - neighbour, who's "security" floodlight used to automatically switch off at 2210, now switches off at 2330. She refuses to turn it off (she lives in fear it seems), so I unfortunately have had to make a formal complaint of "light pollution and sleep deprivation" to the local council, since it not only fully illuminates our back yard, but also the first and second story bedrooms. And I refuse to simply use blackout curtains, especially in summer! It simply should not be on past 8pm.
Anyway, the trials and tribulations of the city astronomer...
