, I was a bit unsure of my DSO framing at first, but in the end it allowed for a good number of stars (in relation to the nebula) and that helped support the 3D effect.
I've noticed that when the image is viewed in 3D, the details in the HorseHead appear slightly finer, almost as if I'm getting improved resolution. Could just be a trick of the eyes, but seems to work
