No... not at all ... infact stuff I sent by ' ordinary ' post have all been successfully delivered.....

History of my lost items by Aust' Post...

One was an ' Express Satchel ' containing documents ... another was a parcel sent to Tasmania about 8 years ago containing ' radio parts ' , was registered Post ..... and of course we have my recent debacle even with ' tracking ' .

Why wouldn't I be peeved off.... they have a ' history ' of loosing stuff I have sent..... AS YOU HAVEN'T.

To me....they ARE NOT the most reliable ..... all articles were ' traceable '
They just ' LOST ' them.... I don't find that reliable at all.

Ever asked yourself why they offer ' Insurance / Tracking / Registered Post .... because they CANNOT guarantee 100% delivery... they are covering their ' backsides '

We also have some very dubious Aust' Post Contractors.... some being caught with peoples articles at their home address not delivered to the rightful owners... ( stealing )

I could tell you of a first hand account of a Postal worker who went to Court / lost his job '/ shamed his wife / incident made the TV news ....and it was me who caught him out....I was working in conjunction with the Police at the time.

Literally 100's of people lost Christmas Presents / Cards and who knows what else.

Incidentally ...I have sent many items by road couriers Ipec / Comet / Pack and Send / Star Track ... and not lost a single item in over 35 years.... now that speaks for itself.

Col...
