Good work Andrew! My results aren't too dissimilar, 9.6 last night, 8.8 tonight (28.49 Sept 2015 UT) using TYC6854-1315-1 (8.48) & TYC6854-2819-1 (9.08) as comp stars. In dark skies it might be possible for me to get a spectrum - here's hoping it continues to brighten!

EDIT: The AAVSO has a chart now which gives me a revised estimate of 9.0 using comp stars 88 & 91!
