Most of the movement is associated with the proms and filaments changing shape or lifting off and when a flare occurs you can see a bright spot develop and recede before your eyes.

Even on a spotless sun it is never boring in Ha.
Thanks for getting back to me I'm really new to astronomy and the amount of stuff we can see blows my mind. I never thought it was possible to see the sun, apart from in puctures.
