There is a lot in the north and it seems to be fairly well known. At SRO we imaged a lot of dust in Cepheus and the northern part of Taurus. Mostly LDN and LBN objects.
We have some similar areas in the southern sky like the Chameleon Cloud. My suspicion is that we have quite a lot of dust but it's not as well known. Once my AP140 is up and running (camera came back this week) I'm hoping to go searching for large scale dust. Will let you know if I find it
