Hi Cam,
just to get a larger image. My Megrez in its native focal length is wide enough and the reducer makes galaxies even smaller. So it was taken out to get a larger image. I think it may be best to leave it in place to ensure nice star shapes and such.
Looks like a need a nice fast newtonian for the smaller objects I desire. My buddy Mel has a Bintel f4 he can lend me but the tube rotator he has it housed in is just as heavy as the OT and thus a bit too much for my HeQ5 to cope with - OK I also need an Neq6 - anyone want to part with one cheaply???
