Great Solar Proms - 21st August

Hi All

I managed to get some good data from a solar imaging session yesterday. A nice variety of proms on display. Taken with the Lunt 80, 3x barlow and basler ace video camera. One exposure for proms and another for surface details.

The other attached image is my first reasonable image from a Quark Ha eyepiece and 127mm refractor. Unfortunately the scale used is too big for the seeing conditions at the time. At present I am not sure whether the Quark will stay in my solar imaging kit as it is a difficult beast to image with. Thanks for looking.
