G'day everyone I was wondering if someone can lead me into the right direction on how do i start up an astronomy club in my town.
I have amazing skies here and the weather is usually very kind to me except the last month grrrrrr anyway I think it's time I bite the bullet and go for it I want a club here so bad I think it's time to get the ball rolling
Woohoooo but...... I have no idea where to start or what do I do
Do I need to approach the council first or do I have to get like an ABN number
Do I charge these members to be part of the group, insurance etc etc....
I do not want to make it a profit organisation, I just want to get together with some other like-minded people like myself to get out there under some dark skies and enjoy what the universe has to offer
I have so many things I still want to learn but all my Astro buddies live so far away from me
I have prompted the swan hill pony club if they were interested in sharing their facilities as they are just on the edge of town so that will be cool if that works out fingers crossed
