My Unitron 140 is up for sale and I am looking for expressions of interest.
When I started in this hobby (a long time ago), this was the scope that I wanted. I remember standing at the window of Astro Optics trying to figure out how I could fund the purchase. Move forward 35 years and i finally acquired one. Inevitably, I have been offered a model 152c which I cant turn down. So the 140 is up for sale.
This is the 75mm F16 Altazimouth mounted scope. It is good condition and comes with the following:
- Altaz mount with spreader and original wood tripod, one leg of tripod is missing the cap at the end
- OTA with finder, dewcap
- 4 eyepieces + sun and moon filter, diagonal and terrestrial inverter
- Wooden box for OTA
- orginal cardboard box for mount and tripod
The views through this scope are great, on par with a lot of Chinese made ED's i have had in the past.
Whats the price? I am unsure what these are worth; I am open to any reasonable offer, really silly offers will be ignored.
