Interesting. The loss of the microlenses could be a big deal though. They seem to nearly double the QE of CCDs.
I have to say though I haven't seen a decent mono DSLR shot yet though. DO you know of some?
Also of interest is Fuji released a full spectrum version of the XT1. Be good for infrared, astrophotography. 16mp APSc Sony Exmor with Xtans colour array.
