Platypus
After 3 days of rain the Mersey River at Latrobe, Tassie, is red with silt, and the Platypus were feeding.
These are the best photos I have managed of the subject, and it is because of the red river.
On days when it is beautiful and clear the reflections on the water, and the reflected light from the Platypus' pelt, destroy good detail, and I have thrown away more Platypus photos than I have kept in the past.
I was squatting on the bank and at times was just 2 metres from the animal; it was a bit special.
