Thanks for all the info guys. I may just hold off then on a new mirror. I did read somewhere hold the mirror up to a 60w lift and if u can see the element through it then it's about time to recoat etc.
the mirror is over ten years old I get what I think is a decent image with it but when you look dos. The scope you see thin spots on the mirror. It's been cleaned about 8 months ago. Just worried about it
