Why does the IIS Moon phase page shows Sat, 1st August as the date of the next full Moon for my location (Sydney)? According to Sky Safari this actually occurs on Friday, 31st July at 20:42h.
If the 1st of August were correct we'd be robbed of this month's Blue Moon, one of the least interesting astronomical events that everybody gets excited about
