This camera has literally been used by yours truly to take many award winning solar images (Eureka finalist, Royal Greenwich & Malins ) as per attached example.

Sony 1" sensor 2736 x 2192 resolution, 11 frames per second
with ROI at HD res around 40 Fps
8 and 16 bit capture
(Sorry couldn't be bothered taking a photo, but it looks identical to the attached catalog pic with but with a Firewire 800 bus)
