Thanks for all the replies.
Here is my second go at processing Eta Carinae nebula. More red, less pink. I still think the contrast in the first image is better but agree it is washed-out looking.
Here's a go at the Trifid as well - same deal with 8 lights / 8 darks at 1m30s each.
