Great foundations for additional subs.

Shoot some 3 -5 sec subs for the star cores. Add them to the longer subs (I use PI's HDR comp tool for that) and you'll have a cracker!

Thanks Mike . More subs or longer exposures ? I thought I was pushing the camera @ ISO 1600 for 10 minutes. BTW. I am the old fart who was camped next to your Dob at SPSP

Thanks Slawomir. I have thought about going mono but will probably stick to OSC for another year or so. I am about to buy another modded and cooled Canon. I have been watching your journey into Astro Photography. Keep up the top effort.

Thanks Alex and Rusty. I think precise polar alignment is very important for long focal length guiding. Additionally I have made some local mods to PHD2. I have 60 minute test guides with round stars. I think the EQ6 and AZ-EQ6 perform exceptionally well.
