Eclipses visible next few years
Lunar eclipses tend to be roughly visible in clusters from each side of the world. At times, visibility alternates hemisphere. This past 2 years, we've seen them in this hemisphere, now the other side of the world gets a better deal for a couple of years.

Some partial and penumbral eclipses are visible but the next total lunar eclipse visible from Australia after July 2018 is in 2021.
A total solar eclipse will be visible from Indonesia/Micronesia on Mar 9 2016. It can also be observed as a partial solar eclipse from Northern Australia. The visibility zone cutoff for the partial eclipse is anywhere north of a line from Gladstone to Cameron Corner to the top of the Great Australian Bight to Bunbury. Obscuration is only a few percent from this line. Darwin sees a 50% obscuration eclipse. Not visible from SE Australia (NSW, VIC, TAS, or south east SA.)
