Really nice shot Greg, lots of fine dust and detail in the new version, would be interesting to see a combination of the two as has been said.
I tried to image this target when I first started into AP with a standard 300mm lense, (not a good choice but was all I had at the time). Your original version is the exact image that I saw that made me want to try this object. Unfortunately I didn't have the equipment or the experience to do such a fantastic object justice. I thought of doing a mosaic of the area now I have semi reasonable gear, but mosaics open up a whole new set of challenges. Thanks for sharing this, it has taken me on a pleasant trip down memory lane.
