ngc4372 and the Dark Doodad from Atacama

Hi everyone !


A new picture... to celebrate holidays
It is located in the Musca constellation, one of the southest constellation in the sky.
The bright star is Gamma Muscae and the globular cluster close to it is ngc4372. A nice dark nebula underlines the duet


Technical informations:
- APO observatory in San Pedro de Atacama, Chile - Alain Maury's Space Obs
- Takahashi TOA 150 lens
- mini-OHP mount with MCMT
- Apogee Alta U16M camera at -20°C
- Astrodon LRGB Gen2 filters
- L=24x20' and R=G=B=6x20'
- shooting, guiding and preprocess: PRISM v9
- process: IRIS, PRISM v9 & CS6
