...ummm, open planetarium star chart program, open search facility, type in "NGC 6440", click go..wait a fraction of a second..and bingo! there you have a star chart on your screen that shows you exactly where it is
If you don't have a planetarium star chart software..
...umm? it's not that far from the Lagoon Nebula
