M27 Dumbbell nebula quickie

Just a quickie of M27 The Dumbbell Nebula. 104 x 30 seconds with the 10 inch F4 and Pentax K-5. This is a crop. Full field at Astrobin. ----> http://astrob.in/190061/0/

There was 70% Moon at the time but it's only clear around this joint in moonlight so I take what I can get. Winter has been pathetic!

I really like this 10" F4, but still early days with it. I'll do something serious with it one year when the weather clears.

From Wikipedia "The Dumbbell Nebula (also known as Apple Core Nebula, Messier 27, M 27, or NGC 6853) is a planetary nebula in the constellation Vulpecula, at a distance of about 1,360 light years.
