Isn't that a lot of work though? I thought that program was very CPU intensive and took a lot of work to get out a time lapse. I used to like the Nikon D800e time lapse feature as it was simply set and download the result.

Which camera are you using? They aren't quite the same as a native in camera feature but I don't recall them being slow to load. I am using an A7r.
