I did have a pair for a few days. The triplet lens is not as great as the advertising hype would have you believe. There is still plenty of false colour there. At least as much but maybe even more than the 20x90 which is only a doublet. The triplet does have shorter tubes though.

If you're reading the specs on the Andrews site, I believe they are incorrect. Check www.aoe.com.au for the specs, or the exporter's site at www.binocularschina.com

Although it's been a while since I looked through the triplet but I feel that the 20x90 doublet is better in every way. It weighs about the same and has the same FOV. All metal bracing makes it quite a bit sturdier. Perhaps the triplet has a flatter field but I cannot remember.
