A computer nerd mate of mine contacted me today, reckons he heard that Windows 10 is only free for the first 12 months after installation and then MS will charge you for updates. Not sure how much truth in this, but MS will do anything to fleece their customers.
He may be getting confused with the fact that it is only free for the first 12 months after release as an upgrade from windows 7 or 8, time will tell.
