I've been to (the old) SBIG factory many times. Alan Holmes showed the the orthogonality rig they use to get the sensor square on...hence I'm pretty sure it's not the camera. Given the CFZ of the Taka is remarkably tight, I suspect the Atlas will indeed be most excellent
