This lens is a solid performer for astrophotography with minimal coma or CA. I have used this lens with various Canon cameras to great effect. It has a hard infinity stop, so focusing for astro work is dead easy - simply rotate the focus ring until it stops, and you're away! The lens has a built in flocked lens hood, and comes with genuine Nikon end caps.
