Maneuvering in Space

What an incredible picture on APOD today..

It's the arm they used in the recent STS-114 mission from last year, to repair the tiles.

Did anyone see "Beyond Tomorrow" last week? It had a feature on the "EuroBot"..
Quote:
This robot, which is as large as a human, is designed to carry out astronaut’s tasks on the International Space Station. EUROBOT will be able to climb the outside of a space station, attach itself to the handrails just like an astronaut and be tele-operated by the crew inside.
Here's a great PDF with info about it: here (650k).

Incredible stuff. The lead engineer was only 27 years old!
