Pretty cool at that focal length Steve. How do you normally do your planning? When I was imaging at 2900mm FL with the 12.5" RCOS, I would use SkyX place photo feature. You grab a low res jpg of the area you want to image and import it into SkyX. Takes a little getting use to matching up stars between the image and thesky but once done, you've got a fantastic colour reference where you can visually see the composition against your FoV and of course select a guide star if you've got a rotator in place.

It may help you define the composition and framing better. Make sure you don't just select the default SkyX equipment types for the FoV. Match it precisely using plate solve information. That way you can be assured that the FoV in SkyX is exactly the same as what your imaging system delivers.
