130mm f5 newtonian astrograph with Robofocus

Selling my trusty 130mm f5 newtonian astrograph to help finance a CCD camera upgrade.

This is an outstanding light weight scope that is well matched to APS-C sized sensors (eg DSLR, KAF8300, QHY8/10/12). The scope comes with a smooth 2 inch GSO crayford focuser, upgraded (and correctly offset) 50mm secondary (to maximise field illumination) and is fully flocked. Tube rings and a vixen dovetail bar are also included.

The telescope also comes fitted with a complete Robofocus setup, including motor and bracket, Robofocus 3.1 controller, AC adapter, cables and software CD. Perfect for automated imaging. (I have been using this with Sequence Generator Pro and it works like a charm).

The weight of this setup is approx 5.4 kg, making it ideally suited to a portable/'grab-and-go" setup with an EQ5/HEQ5 or similar mount. Images that I have taken with this scope using a DSLR with MPCC (also for sale) can be found here

Price: $590 + postage (sold)
