I guess this kinda clears it up for me, so if I were to go for a 10" I would probably go the solid tube model from Skywatcher/Saxon/GSO or the Goto Orion XT10g.
I'm getting a little bit of aperture fever and thinking of saving for a 12" Flextube (Not sure on trusses). I'm comfortable with lifting 20-25kg or so as I regularly have to lift and shift chicken pellets, that said the pellets are in a compact bag and can be hoisted onto one's shoulder, not sure the same can be done with the base and OTA
