Debayer process is the same for all application ?

We can think yes for answer, since it is only interpolation of pixels from bayer matrix. But it seems to be not the same for all applications.

Here we have 3 different convertion RAW -> RGB. All with Sharpcap for capture and AS!2 for stack. From left to right:

AS!2 mode surface - RAW files
AS!2 and Castrator mode planet - RAW files
AS!2 mode surface - sharpcap capture mode RGB

The RAW convertion to RGB of SharpCap mode RGB seems to be more sharp than the convertion with AS!2. The convertion with AS!2 mode surface presents some errors: left photo, a line at left top periphery and a square at central bottom area of planet.

Am I shure ?

It seems that I will have better images with RGB mode than RAW if using Sharpcap for capture and AS!2 for stacking.

note: why use surface mode ? Because with planet mode, idem with castrator, you have a crop of image if the planet is very off center. This can be the case when you want the planet and moons.

note: it was done wavelets in Registax and adjust in Photoshop for all files stacked in AS!2. The objective was the best image and details. Maybe it can cause some influence, too.
