G'day, Paul,

Magnificent and extraordinary. I see what you mean about the very conspicuous thin dust lanes on the "underside" of the galaxy, some of which are like spokes poking out, and some look like looping arcs.

I wonder if they're caused by the same mechanism as the ones in NGC 253, each of which is thought to be due to multiple supernovas causing a "galactic fountain" of material being ejected out of the galaxy.

The bright blue star top right helps make for a beautiful image.
