The latest image from Clayton Bay observatories. Only 8 hours of data but I found it was pretty clean.
This is a better rendition that my previous effort of about 5 years ago with the 8" RC.
This galaxy is a very intriguing looking one. The dust lanes, not only across the central plain but the thinner vertical traces are quite interesting to view. Around the central area it looks like those dust lanes are pointing up and away. As though they are being drawn into the central black hole or blown out and away. The star forming regions can be seen too.
